Downtown SLO

Downtown SLO brings together tree-lined streets, local boutiques, farm-to-table dining, local wines and craft cocktails, arts, culture, and history in downtown San Luis Obispo. Visitors can also explore the area’s farmers’ market, which features produce, prepared foods, barbecue, and live music.

The official farmers’ market information explains food-access programs involving EBT/CalFresh and Market Match; visit the official program page to confirm current details. Readers seeking related support can also explore NHREA’s California homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.

Downtown SLO’s Clean & Safe Program supports additional downtown maintenance, including graffiti and chalk removal, sidewalk and gutter cleanup, weed removal, and cleaning public trash cans and benches. The district also lists services such as salons, banking, repairs, consulting, visitor information, and cultural organizations. Visit the Downtown SLO website for current events, business listings, and program information.
