Animal Friends Rescue Project

Animal Friends Rescue Project is a Pacific Grove nonprofit dedicated to helping abandoned, stray, and abused companion animals find permanent homes. The organization works with local animal shelters to assist dogs and cats most in need, including animals requiring urgent medical care, young puppies and kittens, or additional time to adjust.

Founded in 1998, the rescue is supported by its board, staff, and volunteers. Its work also addresses pet overpopulation through focused spay/neuter programs and community partnerships. Learn more about its rescue mission and adoption work through the official Animal Friends Rescue Project website.
