Description

ND Continuum of Care is North Dakota’s statewide Continuum of Care, bringing public and private organizations together to plan and coordinate a homeless response system. The North Dakota-500 CoC was established under the HEARTH Act, and its geographic area includes all 53 counties, their communities, and the state’s five federally recognized tribes. The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency serves as the CoC’s collaborative applicant.

The CoC’s work is intended to help make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Its activities include coordinated entry, which helps connect people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with appropriate interventions, and the annual Point-in-Time and Housing Inventory Counts, which help document homelessness and available dedicated housing resources for HUD’s CoC Program.

North Dakota’s Homeless Management Information System is administered by the Institute for Community Alliances and collects aggregate information about people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and the services they receive. Visit the official site for program information and resources. Related assistance resources are available through homeless assistance in North Dakota and federal assistance programs.
