CHS Safe Place

Community Human Services (CHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Joint Powers Authority serving Monterey County, California. CHS provides mental health, substance abuse, and homeless services to middle- and low-income individuals and families. By addressing root causes such as addiction, domestic violence, mental illness, and homelessness, CHS empowers clients with new skills, support networks, and access to community resources, fostering long-term stability and positive outcomes for individuals, families, and the wider community.
