Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness (CCH) works across Chicago and Illinois to prevent and end homelessness, grounded in the belief that housing is a human right. Its approach combines organizing, advocacy, legal assistance, and education while advancing racial equity and building community power.
Through its housing justice work, CCH advocates for fair access to affordable, permanent, and suitable housing and for policies that address systemic disparities and discrimination. The organization also works with coalition partners on homelessness prevention, affordable housing, supportive services, and Illinois housing policy.
CCH’s youth homelessness work includes statewide advocacy, youth leadership development, and legal education for young people experiencing homelessness. Its materials include an online legal resource for youth ages 14–24. People seeking additional assistance can consult NHREA’s Illinois homelessness assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the official CCH website to confirm current program details.
