Central Outreach & Advocacy Center (Central OAC) helps open doors for adults experiencing or at risk of homelessness in downtown Atlanta. Its services address practical barriers such as obtaining identification, birth certificates, and Social Security cards, while also connecting guests with benefits assistance, emergency food and clothing, and referrals through partner agencies.
Through its Main Frame Job Readiness program, Central OAC offers support with résumé preparation, computer literacy, online job searches, financial literacy, interview preparation, and related employment skills. The organization also provides advocacy focused on barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, identification, and other pathways out of homelessness. Learn more about its programs through the official Central OAC programs page.
For additional guidance, see NHREA’s Georgia homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit Central OAC’s official website to confirm current program details and service information.
