Safe Harbor of Grand Traverse

Located in Traverse City, Safe Harbor of Grand Traverse is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization supporting the physical and spiritual welfare of people experiencing homelessness. Its work includes emergency shelter, food, and compassionate support, with a focus on community involvement and hope.

Safe Harbor also operates a Housing & Human Services Resource Center and maintains a Homelessness Resource Guide with information about transportation, housing, financial assistance, employment, behavioral health, food, and other community resources. As part of the Continuum of Care, the organization collaborates with local partners on longer-term approaches to homelessness.
