Description

Pope Francis Center supports people experiencing homelessness in Detroit through a drop-in Day Center and Bridge Housing Campus. The Day Center provides meals, showers, laundry facilities, toiletries, mail, phone, internet, and connections to community clinics and other support. These services help guests address immediate needs while working toward greater stability.

At the Bridge Housing Campus, residents receive transitional housing and individualized, trauma-informed support intended to help them move toward permanent housing. Services include medical, respite, psychological, addiction, social, job-readiness, and housing advocacy support. The campus also hosts a food pantry through a partnership with Catholic Charities Southeast Michigan and provides access to community medical and dental care.
