Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness
Description
The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH) is a leading voice in the effort to prevent and end homelessness across the state. We achieve this by advocating for effective homeless services, raising awareness about housing insecurity, and providing critical support to over 650 homeless service agencies.
Our Mission and Impact
Despite significant progress, more than 8,200 Michigan residents were homeless in 2022. We are determined to reduce this number and ultimately end chronic homelessness. By empowering our partner agencies with resources, training, and a unified voice, we work to create systemic change that addresses the root causes of housing insecurity. We are dedicated to ensuring that every Michigan resident has a stable place to call home.
