McKinnell House Services, part of Catholic Social Services in Anchorage, Alaska, provides emergency shelter and support for homeless families. Families receive 24-hour lodging, nutritious meals, case management, educational support, and life skills training, with services continuing for six months after transitioning to independent living. Through Food and Family Services, CSS also offers emergency aid such as food boxes, clothing vouchers, utility and rental assistance, and spiritual counseling—helping families stabilize and work toward long-term self-sufficiency.
