Description

Harmony House has served Huntington since 1987, working to end homelessness through access to essential resources and permanent housing. Its services combine housing assistance with supportive programs intended to help people experiencing homelessness move toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Housing programs include Rapid Rehousing, which offers temporary financial assistance and support to help participants obtain and maintain permanent housing. CARE and HEART provide intensive support and case management for people facing complex barriers, including substance use, mental health concerns, or physical disabilities. Harmony House also describes street outreach, information and referral, healthcare access, and representative payee support among its services.

First Steps Wellness & Recovery Center is a peer-run drop-in center for adults experiencing homelessness and substance use disorder, offering peer support, educational classes, and recovery-focused activities in a nonjudgmental setting.
