The Hangar

The Hangar is a Waco hospitality house created from a remodeled abandoned Quonset Hut. Its mission is to help people experiencing homelessness find hope, healing, and restoration through safety, belonging, and meaningful relationships.

Rather than viewing housing as the sole solution, The Hangar emphasizes authentic, Christ-centered community and family relationships. Its approach includes relief during crisis, followed by relationship-building, goal setting, rehabilitation, and development that encourages people to participate in their own progress.

The Hangar also values collaboration with local churches and community organizations. Visit the official website to learn more about its mission and approach. For broader support options, explore homeless assistance in Texas and federal assistance resources.
