Upward Bound House – Family Shelter

Upward Bound House – Family Shelter in Santa Monica provides emergency housing and supportive services for families with children experiencing homelessness. Its family-centered programs are designed to help households move toward housing stability through case management, life-skills coaching, employment assistance, educational support, and mental health or substance-use counseling.

Housing-focused assistance may include housing searches, landlord outreach, application support, rental-history assistance, security-deposit and moving support, and lease-related guidance. Families can also receive food and nutrition assistance, including meal planning, fresh produce, and connections to community food resources.

After housing placement, Upward Bound House provides continued case management, crisis support, resource connections, and stability check-ins for up to two years.
