Flood Bakersfield Ministries exists to reach and engage individuals in Kern County experiencing homelessness, connecting them to housing, resources, and life-changing support through the love of God. We are committed to humanizing homelessness by treating every person with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Founded in 2006 by a community group from The Bridge Bible Church, Flood began as a grassroots effort, offering meals and worship services in local parks. Over time, we have grown into a leading nonprofit, partnering with law enforcement, the Housing Authority of Kern County, and other service providers to deliver impactful street outreach and supportive housing services.

Today, as the primary street outreach provider in Kern County, Flood is a trusted voice and an advocate for the homeless community. Our mission is clear: to restore hope, build trust, and walk alongside individuals until they find permanent housing and the support they need to thrive.
