Poverello House supports people experiencing homelessness and other crises in Fresno through meals, emergency shelter, temporary housing, and pathways toward permanent living situations. Its services are designed to address practical needs while helping restore privacy, comfort, and hope.
Through its social services and housing referrals, Poverello House connects guests with referrals related to physical and mental health, housing, and substance-use treatment. The organization also offers a residential rehabilitation program for adult men with substance-abuse histories, along with a sober-living aftercare setting for program graduates.
The Village of Hope provides low-barrier emergency shelter and case-management or navigation services for people experiencing homelessness.
