Make It Home is a nonprofit furniture bank on a mission to help Bay Area families and individuals transitioning out of crisis by recycling, repurposing, and curating gently used, donated furnishings. For many newly housed foster youth and formerly homeless families, acquiring basic furniture and household goods is unaffordable, leaving them to move into empty apartments without essential items. Founded by interior designer Carolyn Rebuffel Flannery, Make It Home solves this problem by providing much-needed household goods that transform empty spaces into warm, livable homes. This compassionate effort helps clients build stability and dignity as they embark on new chapters of their lives.
