Description

As the Collaborative Applicant, the Greater Kansas City Coalition to End Homelessness (GKCCEH) spearheads the community’s participation in HUD’s annual Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funding competition. GKCCEH coordinates the submission of a single, consolidated federal funding application on behalf of local housing and service providers, ensures compliance with HUD regulations, and facilitates strategic planning to address regional homelessness needs. Additionally, GKCCEH monitors project performance, supports system-wide coordination, and prioritizes funding that reflects the CoC’s values and goals. Their work aligns partners, data, and resources across state lines to build an effective, unified response to homelessness throughout the region.
