Founded in 1979, the Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness brings together service providers, advocates, public agencies, community groups, and people with lived experience of homelessness to promote housing justice and challenge systemic causes of homelessness.
The Coalition advocates, educates, organizes, and takes action on decisions affecting people experiencing homelessness and the broader community. Its work includes policy advocacy and public education, training and professional development, community organizing, and sharing information about homelessness and assistance resources. The Coalition works at local, state, and federal levels to advance housing, human services, and civil rights.
The Coalition does not provide direct services or housing. For related assistance, visit NHREA’s Washington homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the Coalition’s official resource page for reports, educational materials, and links to other resources, and confirm current details directly with the organization.
