Description

Community Alliance for the Homeless (CAFTH) is a private nonprofit and HUD-designated Continuum of Care lead agency for Memphis and Shelby County. It provides planning, technical assistance, and service coordination to public and private agencies working to prevent and end homelessness.

CAFTH helps organize a coordinated regional response rather than providing direct services. Its work includes supporting the Continuum of Care, Coordinated Entry System, and Homeless Management Information System, while advocating for policies that promote housing stability. CAFTH also collaborates with landlords and community stakeholders to expand housing options and strengthen the local system of care.

CAFTH leads community planning related to youth homelessness, including collaborative housing and navigation initiatives. Learn more through the official CAFTH website. For additional resources, visit NHREA’s Tennessee homeless assistance guide and federal assistance resources. Confirm current program details with the official source.
