Description

The Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County (CFTH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the designated coordinator of The Way Home, a public-private homeless response system serving Houston and Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties. CFTH brings together service providers, government, philanthropic, and business partners to coordinate resources and advance housing solutions with supportive services.

Its system-level work includes building collaboration and partner capacity, developing community strategies to prevent and end homelessness, and using data to understand regional needs and outcomes. CFTH’s reporting incorporates Point-in-Time counts, Homeless Management Information System data, and HUD System Performance Measures to provide broader context about homelessness and housing stability.

CFTH also serves as lead agency for The Way Home’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program, which includes a Youth Action Board of young people with lived experience of homelessness. For additional help, explore Texas homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the official CFTH website to confirm current programs and contact details.
