Description

Founded in 1992, Harmony House is a Houston 501(c)(3) dedicated to addressing the housing and health care needs of people experiencing homelessness. Its programs focus on stable housing and supportive services that help vulnerable individuals move toward recovery and independence.

Harmony House’s Permanent Supportive Housing program serves chronically homeless individuals at locations throughout Houston and includes substance abuse case management, life-skills support, and mental health counseling. Its Housing Navigation Center provides a safe, stable place to stay during the transition from homelessness to housing, along with case management, housing navigation, healthcare, employment support, and counseling.

The organization also operates a Worker Dorm offering safe accommodations for employed men who do not have a place to live, with support aimed at helping residents transition to independent housing or reunite with family. Visit the official Harmony House website to confirm current program details. Additional information is available through NHREA’s Texas homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.
