Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA)

Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) connects Southeast Alaska residents with housing opportunities and financial resources. Its official site describes affordable rental housing, homeownership and construction programs, home repairs, lending, financial education, heating assistance, and other community-specific services. THRHA reports managing more than 540 units across 17 Southeast Alaska communities, although individual programs are not offered everywhere.

The headquarters and applicant-assistance office is at 5446 Jenkins Drive, Juneau, AK 99801. Call 907-780-6868 in Juneau or the toll-free line at 888-241-6868 for current application guidance. This address is an office, not a rental property or emergency shelter. Income limits, community boundaries, Tribal enrollment or preference, background screening, waiting lists, funding, and available units vary by program. An inquiry or application does not reserve housing.

Other resources appear in NHREA’s Juneau resource directory, the Alaska assistance page, and Federal Assistance. NHREA is an informational directory and does not operate THRHA properties, process applications, determine eligibility, manage waiting lists, or guarantee housing, placement, or funding.
