Hope Connections provides free food and other basic-needs support to economically disadvantaged youth and young adults ages 16–25 who are at risk of homelessness in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. This listing covers access to food through the Hope Connections program, not an unrestricted walk-in pantry.
A referral from a local social service agency and program registration are required before receiving services. Findhelp says the referral form is available on the Sanctuary of Hope website and may be faxed to 323-372-2211. Call 424-374-8038 to confirm the referral process, current food availability and next steps before visiting.
Findhelp lists orientation on Wednesdays, 10:00 AM–noon Pacific time, after referral and registration. Orientation is not a food-distribution schedule.
Hope Connections South Bay is listed at 13245 Hawthorne Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Hawthorne, CA 90250. Listed program-office hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific time, except the last Friday of each month when SOH is closed. Saturday and Sunday are closed. These hours do not establish food-pickup times; confirm arrangements directly. The map marks the building address, not a specific entrance or second-floor access point.
Other listed support includes clothing, mail services, computers and Wi-Fi, housing navigation, transportation, referrals and navigation. English is listed as the program language.
