A New Leash on Life Madison Thrift Boutique

A New Leash on Life Madison Thrift Boutique, at 1300 Slaughter Rd in Madison, Alabama, is part of a North Alabama nonprofit’s rescue network. A New Leash on Life has worked since 2004 to rescue dogs and cats in need, provide veterinary care and support, and help them move into safe, permanent homes through foster and adoption programs.

The organization’s thrift boutiques turn donated goods into funding for medical care, shelter, and daily support for animals in its program. The Madison location is listed as the Madison Lifesaving Center & Thrift Boutique, connecting community thrifting with the group’s broader work in rescue, rehabilitation, spaying and neutering, adoption, and advocacy for homeless pets. Volunteers, fosters, adopters, donors, and shoppers all contribute to this community-supported effort. Readers seeking broader assistance can review NHREA’s Alabama homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.
