Description

Advancing Connecticut Together (ACT) works with partners to address poverty, addiction, and health inequities through strength-based services and advocacy. Its mission focuses on helping people build secure futures and improving access to resources that support health, financial independence, and long-term well-being.

ACT’s homelessness services support Connecticut’s housing and homeless services sector through financial assistance for unhoused individuals and families, administration of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), professional development through an online learning platform, and support for the annual Point-in-Time Count. ACT’s Rapid Re-housing work uses a Housing First approach, combining targeted financial assistance and short-term services to help people return to housing and stability. Learn more through ACT’s homelessness services information.

For additional information, review NHREA’s Connecticut homeless assistance guide and federal assistance resources. Visit ACT’s official website to confirm current program details and access information.
