Anchor House

Anchor House in Trenton provides a trauma-informed system of care for youth and young adults ages 12 to 24 who have run away, are at risk of, or are experiencing abuse, neglect, homelessness, or aging out of the child welfare system. Its services include housing support, counseling, life-skills and education assistance, leadership development, and connections to community resources.

Programs include emergency shelter for youth ages 12 to 17, transitional living, street outreach, coordinated entry and assessment, and youth rapid rehousing. The organization describes support such as temporary housing, case management, individual and family counseling, advocacy, and housing-search assistance. Its rapid rehousing program combines subsidized apartments with supportive services and referrals.
