Description

The New Jersey Coalition to End Homelessness is a nonprofit organization committed to eradicating homelessness through advocacy, education, and organizing for both emergency and permanent housing solutions. Founded in 2011 by attorney Jeffrey Wild, whose personal connection to homelessness fuels his dedication, the Coalition has a strong legacy of protecting the rights of New Jersey’s homeless residents. A landmark legal victory halted the demolition of a large homeless encampment in Lakewood, resulting in a consent decree that guaranteed housing for affected residents. Since then, the Coalition has grown to become a statewide force advocating for comprehensive policy changes and community engagement to ensure housing justice for all.
