Description

ATCAA supports residents of Amador and Tuolumne Counties through programs that address basic needs, strengthen self-sufficiency, and promote family and community well-being. The agency states that its services are free to eligible clients and are delivered through direct assistance and community collaborations.

Programs include emergency and supplemental food distribution, housing assistance, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention and outreach, utility-bill assistance, weatherization, and energy conservation. ATCAA also offers Early Head Start and Head Start preschool services, child development support, home visits, pregnancy support, and parent education. Additional initiatives include financial education, senior outreach, a Lifeline medical-alert program, mental-health and suicide-prevention courses, and youth prevention programs.

Visit ATCAA’s official shelter information for details about its homelessness services. NHREA also provides resources for homeless assistance in California and federal assistance. See the ATCAA website to confirm current program details.
