CARIDAD

Caridad is a Las Vegas nonprofit supporting the homeless community through a holistic, collaborative approach. Founded in 2010 after founder Merideth Spriggs overcame homelessness, Caridad combines shelter and basic necessities with opportunities for people to contribute, building identity and pride.

Its programs include employment and reintegration opportunities, such as farm work for formerly homeless Veterans, Caridad Gardens participation for clients with disabilities, and alley porter and ambassador roles.
