Description

Founded in 1982, the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County (CFTH) has been a driving force behind the region’s efforts to address and end homelessness. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 1988, CFTH acts as a central coordinator and catalyst, bringing together service providers, government agencies, and funders to create a systemic, data-driven approach to ending homelessness.

Our mission is to maximize resources and align community efforts to help individuals and families move from homelessness into permanent, supportive housing. By focusing on coordinated entry, case management, and outcome-based programs, CFTH has helped Houston become a national leader in reducing homelessness.

With a vision of a community where everyone has a safe place to call home, the Coalition works tirelessly to ensure that no one falls through the cracks. Our collaborative model continues to set the standard for effective and compassionate homeless response systems across the country.
