Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center

Downtown Hope Center in Anchorage provides support for people experiencing homelessness through shelter, nourishment, hygiene services, and practical guidance. Its women’s shelter offers a safe place to stay along with meals, showers, laundry, clothing, and basic toiletries. The soup kitchen serves Anchorage’s homeless and low-income community.

Through the Feed Me Hope Bakery and Culinary School, participants can build baking and culinary skills alongside life coaching, job preparation, and employment-focused training. Programs support women who are homeless or in crisis, as well as homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals seeking a path toward greater stability.
