Description

Shiloh Community Housing in Anchorage supports housing stability through affordable housing, financial assistance, community resources, and programs focused on independent living and work readiness. Its work is centered on helping reduce homelessness and promote secure housing.

The Affordable Housing Program provides rental assistance for people with low-to-moderate incomes. Participants live in four-unit and six-unit buildings with two-bedroom apartments, on-site laundry, storage units, and off-street parking.

Shiloh also offers the Living Independent For Ever program, which provides single and shared housing for young adults ages 18 to 24 as they develop independent living skills. Its Community Resource Center connects visitors with resources such as internet access, training, financial wellness, workforce support, and physical and mental health wellness. For additional information, visit the official website and review NHREA’s Alaska homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources.
