Description

Family Emergency Shelter is part of the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition (FESCO), an Alameda County nonprofit helping homeless families move from crisis toward stability and permanent housing. FESCO’s services include emergency shelter, transitional living homes, supportive coaching, and access to community resources.

Support may include case management, life-skills and employment training, parenting classes, counseling, and connections to housing, benefits, healthcare, and other resources. FESCO also offers children’s services such as developmental assessments, tutoring, enrichment activities, school-readiness support, and childcare referrals.

Learn more about FESCO’s programs through the official FESCO website. People seeking additional housing resources can also review homeless assistance in California and federal assistance resources. Visit the official source to confirm current program details.
