HART Cambria

HART Cambria is the Homeless Animal Rescue Team, a volunteer-run, no-kill, cage-free shelter based in Cambria, California. Founded in 1983, the nonprofit rescues cats in need and supports adoption and foster services for homeless cats and kittens.

Through its adoption and animal-welfare services, HART provides a safe haven for cats, accepts relinquishments from owners who can no longer care for them, and works with local veterinary partners so cats taken in are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. HART also promotes feline population management through spay/neuter education, microchip initiatives, and feral-cat colony care.

HART is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by volunteers and private donations. Visit the official website for current program details and ways to get involved.
