HomeAid Houston
Description
HomeAid Houston serves as a vital connection between local nonprofit care providers who need construction support and builder professionals eager to give back to their community. Partnering closely with members of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), HomeAid Houston facilitates the new construction and remodeling of shelters and facilities that serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness. By bringing together industry experts and nonprofit agencies, each project provides essential resources that empower vulnerable populations in Houston—including veterans, single parents, youth, seniors, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those recovering from addiction or incarceration. HomeAid Houston’s Agency Partners offer not only safe, stable housing but also vital programs such as physical and emotional support services, counseling, education, job training, child care, and more, helping residents regain independence and self-sufficiency.
