Description

Homefull is a Dayton-based nonprofit working to reduce homelessness and housing instability through housing, services, advocacy, and education. Founded in 1988 as The Other Place and renamed Homefull in 2010, the organization takes a comprehensive approach to addressing poverty and its connection to homelessness.

Homefull helps single adults and families with children locate housing and access financial assistance. Its housing services include retention and stabilization support, case management, property management operations, and Medicaid-reimbursed behavioral health services. The organization is headquartered in Dayton and also operates programs in Columbus and other Ohio counties.

Homefull also works to address food insecurity through Mobile Grocery and Urban Agriculture programs, along with food-access initiatives for communities facing barriers to fresh, affordable groceries. Its employment focus includes training opportunities and partnerships with community employers.
