Homeless Children’s Network
Description
At HCN (Homeless Children’s Network), we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing essential mental health services, trauma-informed care, and compassionate support to children, families, and communities in need. Every day, countless families face the devastating trauma of homelessness, often without access to the mental health resources necessary for healing and stability. Since our founding in 1992, our team of highly trained and committed clinicians has worked tirelessly to ensure that no child or family is left without the emotional support and therapeutic services they deserve.
Through individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, community outreach, and specialized trauma-informed programs, we help children and families process their experiences, build resilience, and regain hope for the future. Our holistic approach not only addresses immediate mental health needs but also fosters long-term emotional well-being, self-sufficiency, and stronger, healthier communities.
HCN partners with schools, shelters, and local organizations to create safe, supportive spaces where children and families can thrive despite the challenges of housing instability. By integrating culturally sensitive, evidence-based practices, we empower individuals to heal from trauma, strengthen family bonds, and break free from cycles of homelessness and poverty. Our vision is a world where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed within a stable, nurturing environment—and we are committed to making that vision a reality through compassion, advocacy, and expert mental health care.
