Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System (HOPICS) is a trusted and long-standing division of Special Service for Groups, delivering critical housing and supportive services to the communities of South Los Angeles, Compton, Lynwood, Paramount, and the broader Service Planning Area 6 (SPA 6) in Los Angeles County. Since 1988, HOPICS has been on the front lines of addressing homelessness, housing instability, poverty, and systemic inequality by offering a wide spectrum of services tailored to the unique needs of vulnerable individuals and families.

As one of the largest homeless services agencies in Los Angeles County — and the largest in SPA 6 — HOPICS delivers client-centered, trauma-informed care through a ‘whatever it takes’ approach. This philosophy ensures that every person is treated with dignity and receives the individualized support necessary to overcome barriers and achieve long-term stability.
