People’s City Mission

People’s City Mission supports homeless men, women, and families experiencing personal crisis in Lincoln. Its temporary housing programs provide overnight or emergency shelter along with meals, beds or cots, showers, personal hygiene items, and laundry facilities. PCM’s shelter programs connect guests with caseworkers, community resource referrals, employment assistance, and services intended to support recovery, self-sufficiency, and independent living. The family shelter accommodates single women and single-parent families, with programming for school-aged children.

Through its Help Center, the mission provides free food, clothing, and household items. The Curtis Center offers transitional housing for men focused on sobriety, employment skills, and other life skills.
