Puente de la Costa Sur

Puente de la Costa Sur is a community resource center serving South Coast communities from its Pescadero location. Since 1998, it has worked alongside community members to advance equity and support a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable community.

Its programs address barriers related to health, education, housing, employment rights, and civic participation. Services described by Puente include culturally relevant bilingual mental health and wellness support, educational opportunities from early childhood through adult education, public-benefits navigation, case management, tax-preparation assistance, and health-coverage enrollment assistance. Puente also developed a model lease project with Centro Legal de la Raza to help protect the rights of farmworker tenants and employer-landlords.
