The Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission has been a beacon of hope and transformation in Northern Nevada since 1963. What was once one of Reno’s most notorious hotel and bar properties was transformed into a safe haven for people in recovery, laying the foundation for what has become one of the region’s largest Christian providers of addiction recovery, shelter, and support.
For more than 60 years, the Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission has provided men, women, and families with access to Christ-centered recovery programs, safe shelter, nutritious meals, and compassionate guidance. Through faith-based support and practical resources, the Mission empowers individuals to break free from addiction, rebuild their lives, and find lasting healing and stability.
The impact of this ministry is far-reaching: more than 200,000 people have found hope and restoration through its doors, thanks to the faithful support of the community.
