The Stewpot

Located at 1835 Young St in Dallas, The Stewpot offers community support for individuals and families experiencing poverty and homelessness. Its work includes essential services, stabilization support, educational opportunities, and art and enrichment programs designed to help neighbors move toward greater stability.

Housing assistance includes Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing. These programs pair subsidized housing assistance with ongoing case management and access to supportive services, while allowing participants to help identify the apartment and community where they will live. The Stewpot also operates a food pantry for individuals and households experiencing food insecurity.

Through its homeless services, The Stewpot helps people obtain identification and vital records, keep important documents safe, and receive mail support when they lack a stable address.
