Doors of Hope

Doors of Hope Transition Ministries in Oxford helps homeless and at-risk homeless families in Lafayette County, Mississippi work toward self-reliance and stability. The organization grew from a local homelessness task force and became a 501(c)(3) in 2011.

Through its programs for families facing homelessness or financial crisis, Doors of Hope provides financial assistance related to rent or utilities, financial counseling, and guidance connected to employment, life skills, education, medical needs, and community resources. It also describes safe, temporary housing and supportive services for families working toward stable, permanent housing. Doors of Hope is not a homeless shelter.
