Description

North Beach Citizens provides individualized support for people experiencing homelessness and other serious financial hardship in San Francisco. Through its CORE Program, the organization offers case management, helps clients set achievable goals, and connects them with benefits, medical and financial resources, transportation support, hygiene supplies, phones, and a mailing address.

Housing assistance may include emergency or transitional housing support, help with housing applications, eviction-prevention resources, rental-arrears grants, and move-in assistance. The organization also operates a Community Food Pantry in partnership with the San Francisco Food Bank, providing fresh produce, nonperishable groceries, and ready-to-eat food for eligible residents of participating single-room-occupancy residences. Visit the official North Beach Citizens website for current program details.

Additional information about homeless assistance in California and federal assistance resources may also help people seeking support.
