Description

Brazos Valley Food Bank works with community partners to help address hunger and improve access to nutritious food across the Brazos Valley. Its programs include mobile food distributions that bring fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food to rural communities in Brazos, Grimes, Madison, and Washington counties.

The organization also supports children, students, and families through BackPack and school-based pantry programs. School pantries may provide food, dry goods, and hygiene items through participating schools, offering a discreet resource for students and their families. Its Benefits Assistance Program helps people apply for SNAP and other Texas Health and Human Services Commission benefits, including Medicaid, TANF, CHIP, and Medicare Savings programs.

Visit the official Mobile Pantry Program page and community resources page for current program details. Additional support may be available through NHREA’s Texas homeless assistance resources and federal assistance guide.
