Fill the Pot Ministry, founded by Reverend Jay Ragsdale in Salt Lake City, is a faith-based outreach dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness with meals, compassion, and hope. Inspired by his brother’s lived experience of homelessness, Rev. Jay and his wife, Toni, launched the ministry with a mission to serve God’s children through love and action.
For more than 17 years, Fill the Pot has provided hundreds of hot meals every Sunday, along with clothing, hygiene items, education and employment assistance, and support for addiction and mental health recovery. With the help of dedicated volunteers and donors, the ministry continues to remind our unsheltered neighbors that they matter, offering encouragement, dignity, and a pathway to restoration through Christ’s love.
