Doors of Change

Founded in 2001, Doors of Change is a San Diego County nonprofit supporting Transitional Age Youth (TAY), ages 17–24, who are experiencing homelessness. Its work focuses on helping young people move toward safety, stability, and self-sufficiency through personalized support.

Through its Homeless Youth Advocacy Program, the organization connects youth with basic living supplies, healthcare, mental health support, housing and shelter resources, employment opportunities, transportation assistance, and other essential services. Case managers provide individualized guidance and act as trusted adults while coordinating support through a network of community partners.
