Compass Housing Alliance is a Seattle organization with roots in a 1920 mission founded by Rev. Otto and Alva Karlstrom. Its work includes affordable housing, emergency services, enhanced emergency shelters, and supportive programs for people experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
In Seattle’s Pioneer Square, the Compass Multi-Service Center brings together practical support such as mail services, case management, shelter and housing referrals, showers and laundry, access to medical professionals, and a day center. Compass also describes affordable housing and permanent supportive housing among its services. For current program information and access details, visit the official Compass Housing Alliance get-help page.
