Open Gate Ministries is an interdenominational Christian organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of individuals through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Since 1984, our shelter has provided a warm, home-like atmosphere for up to 34 guests in need of food, shelter, and compassionate care.

We are one of the few shelters in Tulare County that keeps families together, ensuring parents and children are not separated during times of crisis. Our handicap-accessible facilities and family units create an inclusive and supportive environment. With 24/7 staff support, we walk alongside families as they work toward reintegrating into the community. At Open Gate Ministries, we value family because God values family, and our mission is to provide a safe space for healing, restoration, and long-term stability.
