Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California

Located in Fresno, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California creates professionally supported mentoring relationships between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children and teens (“Littles”) ages 6–18. Established in 1968, the organization helps young people build confidence, resilience, hope, and positive relationships.

Programs include Community-Based Mentoring, Lunch Buddies, and High School Bigs, which pairs high school students with elementary-aged children in structured, school-based mentoring. Bigs with Badges connects youth with adult volunteers who have law enforcement or public safety backgrounds, supporting guidance, stability, leadership, and positive community connections.

Volunteer, donation, and program information is available through the official Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California website.
